Wright Diving is owned and run by Danny Wright. The aim of Wright Diving is to offer the best dive training possible whilst making it fun and enjoyable for all concerned.

Danny has the following diving experience covering over 20 years, ExNaval Diver, during his service Danny was a member of the 'Atlantic Submarine Rescue Team', he also ran the diving unit in Gibraltar. When he left the naval service he went to work for the National Rivers Authority (Environment Agency) as a supervisor Medic, while being seconded to the ambulance service to continue his paramedical skill that he gained in military service.

He has also worked on film and television sets as a safety diver/Paramedic and Underwater advisor.

Danny is also a qualified medic, paramedic and Hyperbaric Chamber Supervisor, served on ambulances as a paramedic and a Hyperbaric Chamber Supervisor at Whipps Cross Hospital Hyperbaric Unit. Danny is also a tutor for the commercial diving school in Aberdeen.

Danny can speak fluent Spanish.

Danny has instructor status with almost every diving agency in the world today and can teach beginners and first introductions to Scuba, right up to full Technical Diving, Extended Range, Trimix and both Semi Closed and Closed Circuit Rebreathers. Wright Diving owns several Rebreather units for student instruction. Training is available on the Submatix and KISS Rebreathers.

Safety is of paramount importance to Wright Diving we offer full insurance cover for students and liability insurance for ourselves for your peace of mind. All instructors and Divemasters associated with Wright Diving have full diver HSE Medicals.

It is possible to become trained in the use of SCUBA apparatus with many schools throughout the country, however as an individual Wright Diving offers you a rarely rivalled level of diving experience backed up with an impressive level of knowledge in diving medicine and treatment.

Wright Diving is constantly moving forward with developments in the world of SCUBA for the ultimate benefit of our students. We can offer diver training anywhere in the UK and in the world and courses are regularly run in Egypt in the Red Sea.

Many schools will say they offer the best training possible, however Instructors at such schools are usually only trained with one agency and few of these instructors actually dive in this country outside of swimming pools.
