Open Water Diver
The world best known course is the PADI Open Water Diver Course. This course consists of some distance learning, quizzes and an exam, one day theory, a day in the pool learning skills and four open water dives putting your skills into practice in an open water environment. On a completion of this course you will be able to dive to a maxium depth of 18m with another Open Water diver.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water course may be taken by certified PADI Open Water divers (or individuals with an equivalent qualification). This course is the next step in increasing your knowledge and developing your skills to make your diving even safer and more enjoyable. Following completion of this course you will be able to dive to a maxium depth of 30m with another Advanced Open Water diver.

What does the course involve?
This course is field based so there is minimal theory. The course consists of 5 dives made up of two core (required) dives and three elective (instructor or student choice) dives. The course runs over 2 consecutive days

PADI Enriched Air Nitrox

Maximize your time with the upgraded PADI Enriched Air Diver course. Enriched Air Diver saves you time by allowing you to:
• Stay underwater longer
• Get back into the water sooner
• Get your certification while simultaneously completing dives for other PADI courses
Plus, by diving with Enriched Air you may feel less tired on your trip, with many dive operators now offering free nitrox fills this has become a muct have qualification.

Search and Recovery

Dry Suit Diver
During your PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course, you'll not only cover the background knowledge related to dry suit diving, you'll get into confined water to put that theory into practice. Then, once you've mastered confined water, it's time for two open water dives and applying that knowledge, including dive planning, organization, techniques, problems and buoyancy control.

Deep Diver

Navigation
During your PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you'll learn underwater navigation dive procedures, techniques, planning, organization and potential problems. You'll also be introduced to natural navigation, underwater patterns, distance estimation and further your compass navigation skills. You'll put these into practice during your three open water dives.

Wreck Diver
The lure of exploring sunken vessels, airplanes and automobiles is something most divers can't resist. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving.

Information contained in your wreck diver program includes:
The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving
The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels

Drift Diving
Drift Diving is effortless and relaxing because you simply glide with the current and feel the rush of flying underwater. But, with this type of diving come special procedures that you need to know so you can maximize your fun underwater.

Recompression Chamber Awareness
The purpose of the Orientation to Recompression Chambers Distinctive Specialty is to provide a safe and well supervised introduction into the work of a hyperbaric facility. It is designed to familiarise divers to the facilities available, the procedures used, problems and hazards associated with a recompression chamber and possible treatments available.

You'll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition, film type and camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You'll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment.

Emergency Oxygen Administration
AIM
To teach the administration of oxygen as a means of increasing the effectiveness of First Aid treatment of diving accidents.
It is implicit in this definition that the treatment takes place on the surface, either in a boat or on dry land. There is no question of administering oxygen to a submerged diver.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

What is the PADI Master Scuba Diver Certification?

This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education. PADI Master Scuba Diver indicates you have a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

What do I need to start?

PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
50 logged dives
Five PADI Specialty course certifications
Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for Junior Master Scuba Diver)
Where can I go from here?

The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education. You can continue on to become a PADI Professional. As a Master Scuba Diver you'll be well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster.

PADI Divemaster Course - Go Professional

Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

What can PADI Divemasters do?

Work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations
Assist PADI Instructors with students
Lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided dive tours
Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers

What do I need to start?
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another training organization

What will I do?
Learn dive leadership through classroom and independent study sessions
Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water
Training exercises to test organizational and problem solving abilities
An internship or series of practical training exercises.

With the Internship option you will work alongside Wright Diving Instructors and Current Divemasters. This option is the most preferred option for candidates embarking on a Divemaster Course. You will also underatke 8 exams as part of the course on the following subjects, Dive Physics, Physiology and First Aid, Equipment, Decompression Theory and the RDP, Diving Skills and the Environment, Supervising Activities for Certified Divers, Supervising Student Divers in Training and Divemaster Conducted Programs
